One Hundred Days of Wisdomspot

February 3, 2015

Dear Reader,

Wisdomspot has completed one hundred days of its existence. Ten articles have been published during this period. And I write this today to thank you all for the support and encouragement I have been receiving from you.

Wisdom, as all of us understand, is essentially the ability to apply knowledge, experience and insight in successfully tackling the variety of situations we confront in our lives. It is the source of our capacity to negotiate the rough seas of life.  Each human being and the issues each faces in life are unique.  As such, the ways in which each responds to issues cropping up in one’s life too are different. Thus, there can be no cut-and-dried  formulas to deal with the challenges of individual lives. For good or for bad, ultimately all of us have to discover our own unique responses to the plethora of situations we face in the course of our earthly lives. Yet, some guidance can always be handy. It can come from the lives, learning, perspectives and experiences of others, particularly from the lives of those who have seen and thought far more of life.  This is the spirit behind this blog. And this was what weighed in favour of choosing the name Wisdomspot for it.

When I was toying with the idea of starting a blog, I had my share of fears about a sustainable reader interest in my posts. For one thing, I was seeking to discuss serious stuff, which could be a put off for many readers. For another, the posts were rather too lengthy to retain reader patience. Besides, I was also conscious of the intense competition for reader-attention from the millions of other longstanding blogs. Nevertheless, I went ahead and published the below listed  articles. (Readers may access the posts by clicking on the Title).

  1. Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life – think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.Swami Vivekananda.
Congratulations and All the Best for future! Kind regards adarsh
